Adyen is looking for a Cloud Security Analyst to monitor and protect our cloud infrastructure as the first responder for security alerts. You will own day-to-day security operations across AWS and Azure environments and partner with engineering teams to ensure vulnerabilities are fixed.

What You'll Do

Continuously monitor and triage alerts from SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, and cloud security tools.
Serve as primary responder for cloud security incidents, leading investigation efforts from detection through recovery.
Proactively hunt for threats across security log feeds and perform root cause analysis on vulnerabilities and incidents.
Build and refine security alerts and dashboards to reduce noise and ensure critical issues surface quickly.
Conduct security reviews and penetration testing across cloud infrastructure.
Partner with IT, engineering, and development teams to ensure security findings are understood, prioritized, and remediated.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, information security operations, or similar roles.
Experience monitoring alerts, investigating incidents, and working within AWS and/or Azure environments.
Practical cloud security knowledge with ability to navigate cloud environments and understand misconfigurations.
Builder mindset with AI-assisted development skills to write scripts and automate tasks.
Security operations foundation: ability to triage alerts, investigate incidents, and communicate findings clearly.
Strong organizational skills and time management to juggle multiple investigations.
Some experience with offensive security, OWASP Top 10, and penetration testing concepts.
Comfort across technical domains: basic scripting, Linux command line, APIs, containers, databases, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to Have

Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or similar).
Bachelor's degree in information security, information systems, computer science, or related technical field.
Experience with MITRE ATT&CK Framework in practical incident response scenarios.
Background deploying security tooling as code using proper engineering principles.
