Responsibilities
- Architect, evolve, and operate cloud networking solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, and Network Connectivity Center
- Develop and sustain hybrid network connections using Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, and Cloud VPN
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available LAN and WAN architectures
- Support Software Defined Networking efforts, including policy-driven automation with Cisco ACI
- Plan and implement networking configurations in GCP environments
- Automate network deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce network security through segmentation, access policies, and next-generation firewalls from FortiGate and Palo Alto
- Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, including ISR/ASR routers and Catalyst/Nexus switches across all layers
- Implement and manage secure connectivity using IPSec, SSL VPN, and GRE tunneling
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues spanning on-premises data centers and cloud environments
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance and reliability
- Keep technical documentation and operational runbooks up to date
- Work closely with engineering and business units to deliver expert network design and guidance
