Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and deploying secure cloud frameworks that comply with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and Department of Defense Security Requirements Guide mandates
- Build and manage infrastructure-as-code templates to ensure consistent and reusable cloud environment deployments
- Configure foundational cloud components such as virtual networks, identity controls, audit logging, monitoring systems, and data encryption
- Help develop adaptable enclave designs suitable for isolated or regulated hosting environments
- Analyze current system designs and contribute to modernization initiatives that enhance performance, security, and operational efficiency
- Deploy and maintain container-based applications and cloud-native technologies, including serverless functions and managed platforms
- Enforce security controls necessary for Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and Authority to Operate (ATO) milestones, including documentation and verification
- Support data transition tasks such as planning, migration execution, and post-move validation
- Work with solution architects, cybersecurity specialists, and project stakeholders to align technical implementation with design and regulatory requirements
- Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues spanning cloud platforms, network configurations, and application layers
