Cognizant is hiring a Cloud Engineer (Associate) to provide real-time monitoring, triage, and operational support for a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment. This role focuses on identifying trends, responding to anomalies, and supporting secure, reliable Azure-based services while maintaining strong customer engagement.
What You'll Do
- Monitor Grafana dashboards, identifying trends and responding to anomalies in real time.
- Triage and manage Incidents and Service Requests in line with operational processes.
- Perform Azure IAM management and investigations using Log Analytics and KQL.
- Monitor and report on security events using Azure Sentinel.
- Support infrastructure and configuration management activities, including Terraform.
- Maintain Technical Service Guides and operational documentation.
- Work as part of a strong technical team, supporting customer relationships and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
What We're Looking For
- Must be eligible for, or have active, SC clearance.
- AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator) certification – required.
- Hands-on experience operating within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, preferably including Terraform.
- Strong attention to detail with an inquisitive, analytical mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a customer-facing environment.
- Willingness to ask questions, seek clarity, and build and share technical understanding.
Nice to Have
- AZ-500, SC-300, Terraform / DevOps, ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Understanding of DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
