Responsibilities
- Create future-state cloud endpoint architectures leveraging Intune, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop
- Develop strategic modern device management plans including cloud-native, co-management, and hybrid migration paths
- Establish governance frameworks covering device lifecycle, configuration standards, and security policies
- Design and deploy device enrollment and provisioning processes using Windows Autopilot and Entra ID join methods
- Develop configuration baselines through configuration profiles, settings catalog, security baselines, and administrative templates
- Implement compliance policies with Conditional Access integration and Zero Trust endpoint strategies
- Design application deployment models for Win32, Microsoft Store, and M365 Apps, including dependency and detection logic
- Define update management approaches for feature updates, quality patches, driver handling, and update rings
- Enable monitoring, reporting, and automated remediation using endpoint analytics and scripting tools
- Architect Windows 365 deployments tailored to user personas and performance needs
- Define provisioning policies, image management, security settings, and network connectivity for Cloud PCs
- Design operational workflows for Cloud PC lifecycle management including assignment, resizing, and troubleshooting
- Architect Azure Virtual Desktop host pools with appropriate session models and workload distribution
- Design FSLogix profile configurations, image management, automation, and resiliency strategies
- Ensure AVD identity, access, and network security align with enterprise standards
- Advise on operational best practices including monitoring, capacity planning, cost control, and performance optimization
- Integrate endpoint security controls in collaboration with security teams, including Defender and attack surface reduction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements for data protection, logging, and access controls
- Lead discovery sessions, technical assessments, and solution design workshops
- Produce architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, migration runbooks, test plans, and support transition materials
- Mentor technical staff and contribute to reusable templates, standards, and automation frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in identity, networking, security, and service management
