Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure using IaC tools
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Monitor system performance and respond to incidents
- Implement security best practices across cloud environments
- Troubleshoot issues in development, testing, and production systems
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments
- Optimize cloud resource usage and reduce operational costs
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery protocols
- Enforce compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency
- Support containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes
- Manage configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar
- Integrate monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue detection
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Evaluate and introduce new cloud technologies and tools
- Ensure consistent environments across multiple deployment stages
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents
- Work with version control systems like Git
- Support integration of security controls into DevOps workflows
- Assist in migration of on-premise systems to cloud platforms
- Maintain logging and auditing frameworks
- Coordinate with network and security teams for infrastructure alignment
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability assessments
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
