Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments during patient home visits
- Administer study-related treatments as directed by protocols
- Monitor patient health and document changes
- Collect biological samples according to procedures
- Ensure compliance with research guidelines
- Educate participants about study requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Report adverse events promptly
- Coordinate visits with study coordinators
- Follow infection control practices
- Transport medical supplies for home visits
- Communicate findings to supervising clinicians
- Support informed consent processes
- Adhere to ethical and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and trainings
- Maintain licensure and certifications
- Use electronic data capture systems
- Ensure proper storage and handling of study materials
- Follow up with patients between visits as needed
- Uphold patient confidentiality
- Respond to after-hours clinical concerns when scheduled
- Assist with protocol-specific procedures
- Verify medication administration logs
