About the Role
This role is responsible for leading regional clinical trial operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure study delivery on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional execution of clinical trial activities across assigned studies
- Ensure compliance with protocols, timelines, and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data management and safety
- Monitor regional site performance and support site activation timelines
- Serve as primary point of contact for regional stakeholders
- Oversee preparation and review of clinical trial documentation
- Support vendor selection and management within the region
- Coordinate regional training for study teams and investigators
- Track regional study metrics and report progress to leadership
- Ensure adherence to GCP and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Manage regional budget forecasts and expenditures
- Identify and mitigate operational risks in the region
- Facilitate regional team meetings and action follow-ups
- Support audit readiness and inspection processes
- Drive process improvements in regional clinical operations
- Ensure effective communication between headquarters and regional teams
- Oversee regulatory submissions specific to the region
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional regulatory requirements
- Contribute to study start-up and close-out activities regionally
- Support patient recruitment strategies tailored to the region
- Ensure data quality and timely database locks for regional sites
- Escalate regional issues to global project leadership
- Promote patient safety and protocol compliance across sites
- Lead regional change control processes
- Foster collaboration between internal teams and external partners
