Responsibilities
- Conduct both manual and automated testing for infectious diseases, including EIA/ELISA and nucleic acid assays
- Evaluate, verify, record, and communicate patient laboratory results accurately
- Manage, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments and devices
- Carry out quality control procedures, prepare reagents, and maintain accurate documentation
- Engage in method validations, procedural updates, and assigned special initiatives
- Comply with standards for quality assurance, HIPAA, workplace safety, and required turnaround times
