As a Clinical IT Specialist, you will deploy and configure Clinical IT systems within laboratory environments across Europe, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and regulatory standards. Your role centers on delivering reliable, validated solutions that meet both technical requirements and customer expectations in diagnostic settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and validate Clinical IT platforms according to project plans and laboratory needs
- Oversee project execution from start to completion, maintaining accuracy and adherence to scope
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for system setups, configurations, and validation processes
- Identify and resolve technical issues during implementation to keep projects on schedule
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams, including pre-sales, during solution planning and deployment
- Establish strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Collect and relay user feedback through established channels to inform product development
- Contribute ideas for enhancing Clinical IT offerings based on field experience
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with networking, Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025), and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Familiarity with laboratory instrument connectivity and communication protocols including HL7 and ASTM
- Background in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in fast-paced settings
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project demands
- Ability to travel frequently (50%–70%) across the UK and Europe
