Luminis Health is hiring a Clinical Escort Assistant to support the safe and timely transfer of patients within our hospital. You will provide compassionate, professional customer service to optimize patient throughput and support overall operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Transport patients in accordance with established safety policies and in collaboration with care team members, assisting with patient transfers when necessary.
- Support patient throughput through timely response to assignments and appropriate cancellation of transport requests, ensuring performance meets established productivity expectations.
- Communicate effectively with care team members regarding patient arrival and departure, necessary contact precautions, and the transport of medications and medical equipment.
- Assist colleagues within the department and other units to safely transport patients and equipment, collaborating to prioritize transport requests during high-volume times.
- Engage in departmental process improvement initiatives and demonstrate competency in the safe use of equipment, electronic assignment systems, and necessary computer functions for administrative duties.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification through the American Heart Association.
