Responsibilities
- Conduct traffic data collection and field observations
- Prepare engineering drawings and design documentation
- Support traffic impact studies and transportation planning efforts
- Perform capacity analysis and signal timing reviews
- Assist in the development of construction plans and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on deliverables
- Review plans for compliance with local and state standards
- Participate in site visits and project reconnaissance
- Model traffic flow using industry-standard software
- Prepare technical reports and study findings
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies
- Support permit applications and environmental documentation
- Contribute to safety evaluations and operational improvements
- Assist in developing geometric designs for roadways
- Work on multi-jurisdictional transportation projects
- Utilize CAD and traffic analysis tools effectively
- Engage in quality control and document review processes
- Respond to client requests and revise designs as needed
