Responsibilities
- Supports senior project leadership in managing safety coordination between construction teams, the client, and other involved parties.
- Oversees the execution of the officially approved safety strategy across project phases.
- Contributes to the development of initial design concepts and tender materials for elevated structures, stations, and associated service facilities.
- Provides input during the creation of procurement documents for systems, rolling stock, and depot-related equipment.
- Proposes updates or modifications to the safety plan in response to evolving site conditions or new machinery introduced by contractors.
- Delivers safety training and awareness programs for contractor engineers and client representatives.
- Performs regular field visits to verify adherence to established safety protocols and documentation.
- Guides and mentors construction safety personnel in overseeing the safety practices of design-and-build contractors.
