Accor Group is hiring a Chief Operating Officer - Franchise Hotels, PME Americas

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day operations and commercial outcomes of the franchise portfolio in the Americas, aligning with brand strategies and business goals.
  • Collaborate with revenue, sales, marketing, distribution, loyalty, and digital functions to increase revenue, profit margins, and market presence.
  • Analyze market dynamics and business metrics to adjust strategies for optimal performance.
  • Manage performance oversight using KPIs, financial reporting, and periodic business evaluations.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with franchise owners, management firms, and asset managers throughout the region.
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for owners on strategic and performance-related matters.
  • Align brand requirements with owner financial objectives to support retention, contract renewals, and portfolio expansion.
  • Collaborate with development teams to advance new property launches, brand conversions, and regional growth initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to brand specifications, franchise contracts, and quality benchmarks across all properties.
  • Work with the Franchise Center of Excellence to enhance quality controls and operational improvements.
  • Advance guest satisfaction, digital adoption, and excellence in customer experience.
  • Support property upgrades, repositioning efforts, and compliance projects in coordination with brand and design departments.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing regional team focused on franchise operations.
  • Promote a workplace culture rooted in accountability, diversity, innovation, teamwork, commercial responsiveness, and owner focus.
  • Partner with human resources to strengthen leadership development, talent pipelines, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, health, safety, and operational standards across multiple countries including the US, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Caribbean nations.
  • Lead crisis response planning, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to uphold franchise agreement integrity and governance frameworks.
  • Advance franchise expansion objectives across the Americas region.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and franchisee satisfaction.
  • Act as the organization's representative with franchise owners, industry partners, and external stakeholders, advocating for strategic and sustainability goals.
