The Chief Engineer - Trucking will provide end-to-end leadership for Applied Intuition's strategic engagements with global truck OEMs, driving cross-functional teams to deliver successful business and technical outcomes. This role involves architecting solutions for autonomy and software-defined vehicles (SDV), acting as a technical expert, and building executive-level customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Provide end-to-end leadership for Applied’s strategic engagements with global truck OEMs
- Lead cross-functional teams, plan resources, and manage budgets to achieve successful business and technical outcomes
- Deeply understand customer needs for autonomy and SDV
- Solve customer challenges with company products and solutions
- Define use-cases and craft solutions for autonomy and SDV
- Cultivate executive-level connections and become a trusted customer advisor
- Identify the most critical challenges and opportunities
- Ensure the right work is done with precision, at the optimal time, and to the highest standards of quality
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years experience working with trucking or automotive OEMs and suppliers
- Prior work in automotive software, autonomous vehicles or robotics
- Familiarity with modern software development
- Strong communication skills

Work Mode
