Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least fifteen years of experience in designing, developing, integrating, or leading complex software-intensive, distributed, or mission-critical systems
- Proven background as a technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect, or chief architect on large-scale government, defense, intelligence, or commercial technology initiatives
- Experience in designing and deploying distributed systems across both cloud and on-premises infrastructures
- Background in developing enterprise architecture, system integration approaches, interface specifications, and technical roadmaps
- Experience working with hybrid cloud setups, including Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes-based deployments
- Solid grasp of microservices architecture, API design, distributed data systems, containerization, and cloud-native application development
- Experience integrating software platforms with communications systems, mission systems, enterprise applications, or operational technologies
- Demonstrated capability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and explain complex technical ideas to executive leadership and government stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience creating technical documentation, architecture products, and executive briefings
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting satellite communications, space operations, mission operations centers, or space domain awareness programs
- Familiarity with Node.js, React, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar modern software development frameworks
- Experience designing cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, Model-Based Systems Engineering, or Digital Twin technologies
- Background with AI/ML-enabled applications, enterprise data platforms, and workflow automation solutions
- Experience supporting DevSecOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and CI/CD automation
- Experience integrating commercial software products within Department of Defense or Intelligence Community settings
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, secure software development, and cybersecurity best practices
- Security+ certification or another DoD 8140-compliant certification
- Experience supporting classified government environments and complex satellite communications architectures
