Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items fresh while maintaining high standards for flavor and food safety
• Follow recipes, cooking techniques, and instructions as directed by supervising chef
• Maintain consistent menu offerings and uphold quality benchmarks
• Manage and monitor food costs within the kitchen operations
• Minimize food waste through careful handling and portion control
• Inspect kitchen equipment regularly and report any malfunctions to the head chef
• Perform food preparation tasks including vegetable prep, meat cutting, and sauce creation
• Cook and plate menu items in coordination with kitchen team members
• Respond promptly to chef directives and carry out assigned tasks
• Clean and organize workstations after service and properly store remaining ingredients
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Ensure dishes are served simultaneously, meeting quality and timing expectations
