About the Role
This position involves delivering occupational therapy services remotely to clients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, with a focus on Spanish-speaking populations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual occupational therapy sessions to clients
- Collaborate with supervising occupational therapists
- Conduct assessments in Spanish as needed
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Document client progress accurately and timely
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and families
- Use telehealth platforms for service delivery
- Support client independence in daily activities
- Adapt interventions for diverse age groups
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure cultural sensitivity in client interactions
- Follow ethical and professional guidelines
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Assist with development of therapy goals
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust plans
- Provide feedback to supervising therapists
- Stay current with telehealth best practices
- Complete required training modules
- Respond to client and caregiver inquiries
- Coordinate care with other providers
- Maintain accurate electronic records
- Support onboarding of new clients

- Uphold licensure and certification requirements
