About the Role
This role involves delivering occupational therapy services remotely to clients who benefit from Spanish-language support. The professional will work under the guidance of a licensed therapist, using telehealth tools to implement treatment plans, track progress, and promote client independence in everyday tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Conduct therapy sessions in both English and Spanish based on client needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising therapists
- Monitor and document client progress during therapy interventions
- Support clients in achieving functional independence across daily living activities
- Use telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy services effectively
- Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with regulations
- Communicate regularly with supervising therapists on client status
- Adapt therapeutic activities to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process when appropriate
- Follow ethical and professional standards set by regulatory boards
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain clinical competency
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and organizational requirements
- Respond to client needs with cultural sensitivity and linguistic accuracy
- Assist in modifying goals based on client progress and feedback
- Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate care plans
- Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and telehealth
- Support onboarding of new clients into therapy programs
- Use digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and client communication
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the therapy team
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally
- Uphold licensure and certification requirements at all times
- Participate in supervision meetings as required
- Support client transitions between care levels when necessary
Nice to Have
