About the Role

The Certification Specialist I oversees live proctored exams, maintains exam security, supports candidates technically, and contributes to improving certification content and processes within a fast-paced, remote startup culture.

Responsibilities

  • Proctor live certification exams for digital marketing skills such as domain configuration, lead capture, funnel creation, form setup, and calendar management.
  • Uphold the security and validity of the certification process by strictly following established exam protocols.
  • Monitor examinees in real time to prevent academic dishonesty or policy violations.
  • Offer technical guidance to candidates to ensure a seamless testing experience.
  • Keep precise records of exam outcomes and candidate data.
  • Work with team members to refine and enhance exam procedures and workflows.
  • Support the creation, review, and updates of exam materials as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in digital marketing certification.
  • Remain informed about internal product and process changes to maintain content relevance.
  • Identify outdated content and initiate updates to align with current industry standards.
  • Gather feedback and suggestions from users to improve the certification experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, subject to evolving business requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience working with the company.
  • At least two years of experience in customer service or client relations.
  • Strong collaboration, time management, and task prioritization abilities are essential.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and experience managing difficult situations.
  • Self-driven attitude with a willingness to ask questions and take ownership.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Motivated to succeed in a fast-moving startup environment where individual impact drives growth.
  • Dedicated to producing high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of working efficiently while maintaining accuracy and precision.
  • Self-starting and able to work independently while contributing effectively in a remote team setting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
