Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate live haul trucks in compliance with company standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections according to established procedures and report any malfunctions or concerns to supervision.
- Drive vehicles in a way that preserves the quality and condition of transported livestock.
- Exchange clear and accurate information verbally and in writing with team members, maintenance personnel, farm operators, and supervisors.
- Ensure trucks and work zones are maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Collect each assigned flock as scheduled and directed.
- Adhere to assigned housekeeping routines using approved methods and required personal protective equipment.
- Promote a collaborative and respectful workplace through open communication and teamwork.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
