Altius Search Group is hiring a Catering Chef

Responsibilities

Direct all culinary production for catered and private events.
Plan, prepare, and execute menus for both off-site and on-site functions.
Collaborate with the Director of Events to ensure smooth event execution.
Create production schedules, prep systems, and kitchen workflows for the new catering operation.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage food ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Control food and labor costs while achieving financial targets.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop catering kitchen staff.
Ensure adherence to all sanitation, food safety, and health regulations.
Work with the Executive Chef and leadership team on seasonal menus and special event offerings.
Assist with event setup and execution as needed.
