Responsibilities
- Greet all customers politely upon entry, phone call, or drive-through arrival.
- Record customer orders accurately at the counter, over the phone, and at the drive-through.
- Process orders through the Pulse system to facilitate their preparation.
- Monitor completed orders and ensure they are promptly delivered to waiting customers.
- Assist in expediting and completing orders, including all sides and extras.
- Upsell in-store promotions when appropriate.
- Collect payments from customers and provide correct change.
- Process credit card and debit card transactions.
- Manage a cash drawer and ensure it is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Use a drop box to maintain the cash in the till at a specified level.
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
- Keep the front counter stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
- Maintain the box hutch and all other box stocking areas clean and stocked.
- Clean the dining area by wiping down tables and booth seating, sweeping the floor, and taking out trash.
- Sweep the floor regularly and mop when needed or after the lobby closes.
- Clean windows on front doors and throughout the lobby to remove fingerprints and dirt.
- Restock napkins, straws, lids, Parmesan and red pepper shakers, and other supplies in the dining area.
- Clean the outside of the soda machine regularly during the shift.
- Wipe down and restock all Coke coolers.
- Clean and restock public and employee restrooms throughout the shift and at the end.
- Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary and only as backup.
