CommonSpirit Health is hiring a Cardiovascular Tech

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential cardiovascular diagnostic procedures to supply physicians with critical data for precise diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Operate advanced diagnostic equipment skillfully, conduct non-invasive cardiovascular studies, prepare patients, and record findings meticulously for interpretation.
  • Follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, manage scheduling, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Communicate using the AIDET framework, focusing on patients and their families.
  • Identify complications from catheterization and initiate appropriate interventions with the registered nurse.
  • Recognize symptoms and interventions related to contrast reactions.
  • Interpret EKG tracings, blood pressure, and heart waveforms.
  • Identify arrhythmias and assist the registered nurse and physician as appropriate with treatment.
  • Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all necessary equipment and procedure setups.
