Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs for data centre projects
- Produce BIM models and drawings ensuring alignment with design briefs, accuracy, and completeness
- Coordinate design efforts across architectural teams and with other disciplines
- Conduct fundamental architectural and engineering calculations
- Create technical specifications, reports, and associated data tables
- Maintain communication and collaboration with design and drafting teams
- Generate, review, and approve technical drawings as needed
- Complete design tasks of moderate to high complexity under limited supervision
- Gain foundational knowledge of relevant codes, permitting processes, and technical software
- Learn to develop designs and drawings using project specifications and disciplinary instructions
- Develop intermediate to advanced understanding of vendor documentation purposes and applications
- Begin learning material take-off procedures specific to the architectural discipline
