Responsibilities
- Carry out calibration procedures on process instrumentation such as pressure, mass, flow, temperature, and conductivity devices.
- Demonstrate foundational understanding of troubleshooting methods for process equipment repair and upkeep.
- Assist internal clients and suite coordinators in evaluating equipment availability and suitability.
- Collaborate with fellow Metrology team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Follow standard operating procedures for calibration, preventive maintenance, and functional testing of equipment.
- Ensure laboratory standards and associated tools are calibrated on schedule and within required timelines.
- Complete assigned calibration work in laboratory and cleanroom environments, including responding to urgent requests.
- Serve as a technical resource for process equipment, providing expert-level support when needed.
- Review calibration documentation as required to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lift up to 50 pounds during calibration activities involving scales, tanks, and similar equipment.
- Use the CMMS (Maximo) system for data input and maintenance of calibration records.
- Apply knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, SI unit traceability, and ANSI Z540-series standards in daily operations.
- Calculate equipment specifications, tolerances, and operational limits accurately.
- Adapt work hours as necessary to support operational demands.
