About the Role

C2BMC System Engineer (Associate and Experienced) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program is seeking motivated and talented C2BMC Systems Engineers to join the team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The Boeing Missile Defense Programs are integral to the Ballistic Missile Defense System which safeguards the United States homeland and its regional allies globally. Our teams are currently recruiting for a diverse range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced (Levels 2 or 3) System Engineers. Position Responsibilities - Collaborate with industry partners in developing and executing comprehensive assessment programs supporting the C2BMC Element of the Ballistic Missile Defense System - Assess systems across various scenarios and architectures to optimize overall system mission performance for Missile Defense Agency and Warfighters - Conduct diverse analyses to enhance total system architecture - Create and maintain analysis tools including modeling and simulation platforms to predict performance against evolving missile defense threats - Develop and manage requirements management processes, risk assessment, opportunity tracking, and technology readiness evaluation - Define, schedule, assign, and monitor task completion, overseeing integration and checkout activities, evaluating results and determining compliance with checkout requirements - Support subject matter experts in integration, test domains, system engineering performance, and specific system challenges - Address complex missile defense problem-solving efforts - Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering tools like CAMEO, DOORS, System Architect for trade studies and thought leadership - Drive system engineering integration, test, and analysis approaches - Develop and deploy integration and test processes, tools, and metrics - Execute and document integration and test activities - Identify efficiencies to enhance team productivity - Perform system analysis trade studies to define technical solutions - Interact with diverse personnel across MDA and associated sub-elements Position requires 100% onsite work at specified locations. Travel may be necessary up to 10% domestically or internationally. Potential facility access requires government background investigation. Candidate must be accepted by industry partner resource control board. Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship Mandatory). Basic Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science - (Level 2) 2+ years related engineering experience - (Level 3) 5+ years related engineering experience - 1+ years system engineering experience - Understanding of iterative product development using Agile practices - Strong analytical, collaboration, communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of DoD missile defense architectures - Experience in requirements verification and analysis - Systems performance and trade studies expertise - Missile defense modeling and simulation experience - Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, Java Typical Education & Experience Associate (Level 2): Advanced technical education with 2+ years related work experience Experienced (Level 3): Advanced technical education with 5+ years related work experience Boeing maintains a Drug Free Workplace with post-offer testing. Summary Pay Range: Associate (Level 2): $81,600 - $110,400 Experienced (Level 3): $97,750 - $132,250 U.S. Person status required. No visa sponsorship available.
