Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic plan to transition current operations to future-state models
- Evaluate, revise, and confirm accuracy of business processes, policies, and procedures
- Track and report compliance with established regulations and internal standards
- Lead improvements in administrative workflows and operational efficiency
- Manage financial accountability for assigned property and assets
- Support periodic evaluation of financial and administrative policies to ensure mission alignment
- Verify and update procedural documentation and administrative policies
- Participate in scheduled Change Review Board meetings
- Revise end-to-end business processes in response to approved change requests
- Integrate new regulations and policy updates into current Standard Operating Procedures
- Draft new Standard Operating Procedures when required by policy changes
- Ensure SOPs remain aligned with Agency directives and audit communications
- Collaborate with federal agency leadership to design and implement a SharePoint platform and usage protocols
- Engage regularly with the Change Review Board to review progress and resolve issues
- Perform stakeholder assessments to determine need for policy updates or retirements in compliance with governing rules
- Coordinate documentation revisions, including role and responsibility definitions
- Establish, record, and map new business processes with defined roles and responsibilities
- Document detailed operating guidelines and procedures for functional leads and administrative units
- Manage review, approval, and dissemination of updated policies across the agency
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts to define and document target business processes
- Keep financial management processes and policies synchronized with actual operations
- Lead workgroups focused on enhancing financial processes at strategic and tactical levels
- Provide organizational support for identifying, tracking, and resolving process issues
- Formulate action plans for resolving issues and mitigating risks
- Apply recognized improvement methodologies such as root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping, and performance measurement
