Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and implementation of the regional Consulting & Technology strategy in alignment with global directives and local growth goals.
- Identify core service lines, target client sectors, and key geographic markets, including digital advisory, data analytics, AI integration, technology platforms, programme management advisory, and digital engineering.
- Track and respond to emerging market dynamics such as digital twin adoption, AI-enhanced project controls, smart infrastructure, and the convergence of consulting and technology in infrastructure.
- Serve as external representative of the practice at industry events, client engagements, and through thought leadership and publications.
- Advance profitable sector expansion through strategic business development, market differentiation, and disciplined client management, with direct responsibility for achieving bookings and revenue goals.
- Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with key clients in government, asset ownership, private enterprise, and technology alliances.
- Lead go/no-go assessments and early client engagement efforts, shaping solutions for major Consulting & Technology opportunities.
- Develop and manage a robust, stage-gated opportunity pipeline from initial market positioning through bid, award, and mobilisation.
- Establish and grow strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and technology collaborations to strengthen market competitiveness.
- Promote the standardised use of digital engineering, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology platforms in consulting delivery, moving beyond pilot projects to operational integration.
- Enhance the Consulting & Technology brand through thought leadership, technical publications, case studies, and client-facing demonstrations of capability.
- Collaborate with global digital and technology centres of excellence to adapt and deploy proven solutions in the ANZ region.
- Ensure service offerings anticipate and exceed evolving client demands driven by technological change in infrastructure consulting.
- Integrate sustainability, resilience, and climate adaptation into consulting services and client recommendations.
- Manage full P&L accountability for the sector, including bookings, net sales revenue, gross margin, utilisation, and revenue growth in line with regional financial targets.
- Contribute to annual goal setting for bookings and net sales revenue, ensuring objectives are ambitious, market-informed, and aligned with delivery capacity.
- Enforce commercial rigor by tracking financial performance, identifying variances early, and implementing corrective actions transparently.
- Balance investment in growth initiatives with operational efficiency, using data to maintain margins while building future capabilities.
- Lead talent strategy including recruitment, professional development, succession planning, and retention of key technical and consulting staff.
- Foster a high-performing, diverse team that supports inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety.
- Mentor Sector Managers and emerging leaders to build future leadership capacity within the Consulting & Technology practice.
