Zendesk, the intelligent heart of customer experience, is hiring a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst to establish the foundation and direction for the 'Analysis' area within our Business Intelligence team. This role requires a 50/50 balance of technical and soft skills, focusing on creating methodologies, ensuring data cleanliness, deriving insights, and mentoring peers.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with internal customers to refine requirements and validate output, ensuring solutions meet expectations.
- Apply technical knowledge to translate business needs into BI solutions.
- Develop and improve user learning materials, FAQs, and checklists to foster self-service and self-sufficiency.
- Conduct moderate to complex data profiling and analysis to evaluate data sources and determine the best source for business information.
- Acquire, transform, and translate data into actionable dashboards, reports, or datasets that substantially impact the functional area of support.
- Perform moderate to complex statistical analysis to investigate issues and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business users to perform data validation and testing activities.
- Develop and build upon existing expertise of the data ecosystem (data lake) and emerging trends in business intelligence technologies.
- Develop and maintain BI platform operations and administration procedures, checklists, and runbooks for a global support team.
- Lead projects, deliver presentations to stakeholders, and mentor peers on business-impacting analysis techniques.
- Assume leadership of the team when the manager is unavailable.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role, enabling purposeful in-person connection, collaboration, and learning with flexibility to work remotely part of the week. The position is open to candidates in Mexico City (CDMX) and Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
