We are currently seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to join our Mining team, based out of Toronto, ON. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for responsible for managing business development activities for the Bantrel mining business for our Canadian market. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Client Solutions, role will include continued interface with Bechtel Mining and Metals to support North American business development.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to Bantrel’s Strategy Framework process that includes market, Client, and competitor analysis across Canada.
- Oversee mining and infrastructure proposal development and the response process. Activities include developing capture strategy, coordinating proposal development and drafting technical and commercial execution plans
- Represent and promote Bantrel throughout the industry to build and sustain relationships and brand recognition
- Working collaboratively with the Vice President/General Manager to develop and execute strategies/tactics for market development and penetration in support of business plans
- Manage the pursuit risk process, including deep collaboration with Bantrel legal and project management in prime contract review
- Support the commercial strategy for pursuits
- Drive active regular cooperation and coordination with Bechtel Global Business Unit (GBU) in pursuit of our common markets to develop the most attractive offering to Clients

Job Description: We are currently seeking a qualified Civil Designer with Civil 3D experience to join our team, based out of Calgary, AB. Join us in this full time permanent role Duties & Responsibilities include: * Prepare and develop Civil 3D original ground surfaces using survey point data.
* With the help of a civil engineer, develop rough grade and final grade surfaces including roads, ditches, ponds, undergrounds etc.
* Generate cut and fill MTO using Civil 3D.
* Extract 2D drawings from Civil 3D model for rough and final grading, ditches, undergrounds, ponds, etc.
* Work closely with civil engineer in developing all aspects of civil grading design.
* Interface with structural engineers and designers to ensure continuity of civil design with building, equipment and structure foundations.
* Coordinate with designers in other disciplines to progress 3D model and 2D drawings.
* Maintain drawing files and folders in accordance with company QA/QC procedures.
* Ensure compliance with approved design standards.

Qualifications: * A recognized degree or diploma in Design and Drafting from an accredited college or university
* Civil 3D training and experience is a must
* Minimum 5-years of practical work experience using Civil 3D software
* Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written).
* Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
