Responsibilities
- Drive sales of drug discovery-related chemistry and pharmacology products and services within a designated region to meet established revenue goals.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the drug discovery lifecycle and effectively communicate value propositions to clients in the US market.
- Identify and engage potential clients whose research or development needs align with the service and product offerings.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships using collaborative methods, including regular in-person interactions.
- Offer strategic input and client feedback to guide operational improvements that enhance service delivery.
- Create, maintain, and update detailed regional and territorial business plans outlining strategies to achieve sales objectives.
- Monitor and report on competitive dynamics within the region and global marketplace.
- Submit monthly performance updates based on predefined key performance indicators.
- Consistently use and keep current the company’s CRM system with accurate and complete client and activity data.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across discovery units to align business strategies and deepen domain expertise.
- Leverage internal capabilities and resources within the discovery network to support sales outcomes.
- Maintain advanced technical knowledge of chemistry services for drug development and apply it to sales efforts.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction with prompt responses, including within 24 hours of client inquiries.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and execute regional promotional strategies for services and brand visibility.
- Effectively use digital platforms, e-commerce channels, and participate in events such as webinars, trade shows, and client visits.
- Deliver clear and impactful presentations to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and client feedback to recommend enhancements to product portfolios and marketing tactics.
- Travel 30-40% of the time, primarily within the assigned territory, to support client engagement and business growth.
- Submit expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Perform additional tasks as required, including assisting fellow sales team members when necessary.
