OpenTable is hiring a Business Development Manager (Account Executive)

About the Role

This role focuses on acquiring new clients by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales process to close deals and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client base
  • Conduct outreach to potential partners through calls, emails, and in-person meetings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Present product offerings and tailor solutions to meet client needs
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Use CRM tools to track interactions and manage sales pipeline
  • Analyze market trends to refine outreach strategies
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking forums
  • Gather client feedback to inform product and service improvements
  • Stay informed about competitor activity and market shifts
  • Deliver regular performance updates to leadership
  • Adapt communication style to suit diverse client personalities
  • Drive adoption of platform features among new clients
  • Support the development of sales materials and pitch decks
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow-up requests
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge
  • Contribute to team strategy discussions and planning
