Electrosoft is hiring a Business Analyst II

Responsibilities

  • Gather, record, and assess business and functional needs to support IT initiatives and project teams.
  • Work with stakeholders, end users, and technical staff to identify business goals and convert them into clear, executable requirements.
  • Attend regular project meetings, status check-ins, working sessions, and coordination events with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project actions, risks, issues, decisions, and deliverables to help meet program goals on time.
  • Help develop and maintain documentation for business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze current business operations to find areas for increased efficiency, automation, and ongoing improvements.
  • Support requirement-gathering efforts through interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
  • Develop and manage traceability matrices to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Help prepare project materials such as documentation, briefings, reports, meeting notes, and summaries for leadership.
  • Support project planning tasks including tracking timelines, coordinating resources, and monitoring key milestones.
  • Partner with technical teams to clarify requirements and contribute to solution design discussions.
  • Take part in user acceptance testing, including planning, executing tests, and tracking defects.
  • Verify system features meet documented requirements and assist in resolving identified issues.
  • Review program metrics and performance data to support reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and meets organizational and client standards.
  • Support change management tasks such as impact analysis, stakeholder messaging, and training logistics.
  • Assist with deploying new systems, applications, or improved processes.
  • Enable communication between business units, project teams, and leadership to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Track project progress and report on task status, dependencies, and emerging risks.
  • Support ongoing improvement efforts aimed at boosting program effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
