KPFF is hiring a Bridge Engineer [5-10+ yrs exp]

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and develop project management capabilities, such as monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers.
  • Work on interesting and challenging projects, from planning through design and construction.
  • Lead technical and project discussions with the design team.
  • Take responsibility for the quality control/assurance of project deliverables.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports for new construction and/or evaluation of existing structures.
  • Perform structural design and analysis for bridges and associated structures utilizing structural software, finite element software, and/or spreadsheets.
  • Conduct site visits to understand project conditions and requirements.
  • Help build our Idaho business.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Bridge Engineer
  • Ability to perform structural design and analysis for bridges and associated structures
  • Proficiency with structural software, finite element software, and/or spreadsheets
  • Experience preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
  • Experience conducting site visits
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients
