Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and develop project management capabilities, such as monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers.
- Work on interesting and challenging projects, from planning through design and construction.
- Lead technical and project discussions with the design team.
- Take responsibility for the quality control/assurance of project deliverables.
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports for new construction and/or evaluation of existing structures.
- Perform structural design and analysis for bridges and associated structures utilizing structural software, finite element software, and/or spreadsheets.
- Conduct site visits to understand project conditions and requirements.
- Help build our Idaho business.
Requirements
- Experience as a Bridge Engineer
- Ability to perform structural design and analysis for bridges and associated structures
- Proficiency with structural software, finite element software, and/or spreadsheets
- Experience preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
- Experience conducting site visits
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients
