About the Role

Brand Educators act as brand ambassadors who inform and connect with consumers during on-premise, off-premise, and experiential events. They deliver engaging sampling experiences, increase brand recognition, and support informed consumer choices through education. Candidates must demonstrate brand knowledge, professionalism, and reliability while representing the company at events and completing required training. This is an occasional role with no guaranteed number of assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with consumers at moments of experience, purchase, and consumption
  • Bring brand identity to life and foster consumer confidence through educational interactions
  • Guide consumers through product sampling experiences where permitted by law and policy
  • Complete assigned digital training modules for brands and programs on schedule
  • Use digital platforms efficiently to receive and submit necessary field information
  • Arrive punctually at events dressed according to team guidelines and prepared for assigned duties
  • Distribute branded promotional items to attendees
  • Adhere to responsible service standards and report any breaches
  • Stock and organize retail or event locations with branded point-of-sale materials
  • Cover event-related purchases using a company-provided payment method
  • Collect or receive promotional supplies from the event logistics team
  • Safeguard and return company assets such as uniforms and event equipment
  • Submit post-event summaries through the marketing reporting system
  • Capture digital photos during events and support local social media content
  • Recognize distinctions between represented brands and competitors, and report competitive activity
  • Present a professional appearance suitable for public engagement
  • Comply with all organizational policies and operational procedures

POSITION OVERVIEW

MKTG Brand Educators serve as passionate advocates for brands, educating consumers during on-site, off-site, and experiential events. Their role is to deliver memorable sampling experiences that help consumers make informed decisions. They interact directly with customers at key decision points to strengthen brand recognition and preference. By embodying the brand, they create authentic connections and build trust through knowledge sharing. Educators must master product, category, and production details, pass knowledge assessments, and deliver a concise live presentation to qualify for event participation. This is an occasional role with variable assignment availability, requiring adherence to all training, policies, and compliance standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage and educate consumers at experience, purchase, and consumption touchpoints
  • Humanize brand identity and build consumer trust through informative dialogue
  • Lead sampling experiences for designated products within legal and policy boundaries
  • Complete digital training for brands and programs as assigned
  • Utilize technology platforms to manage event-related data and communications
  • Arrive on time at events in approved attire, ready to execute promotional plans
  • Distribute branded merchandise to consumers
  • Follow responsible service protocols and report violations
  • Pre-stock accounts with point-of-sale materials
  • Make purchases using company-issued debit cards
  • Receive or collect promotional supplies from event logistics teams
  • Maintain and return company property including uniforms and materials
  • Submit post-event reports via the marketing reporting platform
  • Take photos at events and contribute to local social media
  • Identify competitive brand differences and report market activity
  • Maintain a professional appearance for public interaction
