Responsibilities
- Define and document our brand platform: positioning expression, visual identity system (logo system, type, color, motion, illustration, iconography, photography direction), and verbal identity (voice, tone, messaging hierarchy). Build the brand book and component library that scales.
- Own the design of thinkingai.io end-to-end — IA, page design, component system, landing pages for launches and verticals. Partner with engineering on implementation.
- Design pitch decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, customer case studies, ABM assets, sales enablement materials, and executive-ready exec briefings.
- Art-direct and produce visuals for blog, social (LinkedIn-first), launch campaigns, webinars, and email. Build templates that let the team move fast without losing consistency.
- Design booth experiences, signage, swag, and on-site collateral for conferences (AI Engineer Summit, RSA, GTC, Mobile Growth Summit, etc.) and customer events.
- Partner with PMM on launch design — feature pages, demo assets, screenshots, diagrams that explain agentic concepts clearly to enterprise buyers.
- Scope and direct external illustrators, motion designers, photographers, and agencies when needed.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of brand and visual design experience, ideally including time inside an AI, developer-tools, or B2B enterprise SaaS company.
- A portfolio that shows both systems thinking (identity systems, design systems, scalable templates) and craft (typography, layout, motion, the polish details).
- Strong opinions on how a technical, infrastructure-flavored AI brand should look and feel — and the taste to keep it out of the generic "blue gradient + abstract neural network" trap.
- Fluency across the stack: Figma (required), Adobe CC, basic motion (After Effects / Rive / Lottie), Webflow or Framer a plus.
Nice to Have
- Comfort working closely with founders and engineers, translating abstract product concepts (agents, MCP, on-prem deployment) into clear, compelling visuals.
- Bonus: experience with technical illustration / architecture diagrams, motion design, or front-end (HTML/CSS) literacy.
