Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve assets to ensure cultural relevance and effectiveness for diverse APAC audiences
- Work closely with team members, providing mentorship, sharing ideas, and enhancing work through openness and skill
- Lead the development and presentation of design work, clearly explaining concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Transform insights and strategies into expressive design systems and identities that advance brands
- Apply deep knowledge of branding, culture, and modern design to create resonant work for ambitious brands and founders
- Take responsibility for personal role and development, accepting feedback, refining skills, and setting high creative standards
- Strengthen the overall brand by producing compelling and well-crafted design materials
- Help define and communicate the brand across all marketing platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to produce on-brand marketing materials
- Maintain and contribute to brand identity to ensure design consistency and quality
- Cooperate with a team to deliver engaging visual designs that meet business goals while mentoring and providing feedback to elevate team craft and cohesion
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of design experience with a portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking and precise execution
- Background in agency or brand-side environments
- Experience working with vendors such as agencies and production partners, and comfort guiding them while crafting
- High proficiency in software including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Slides, and Keynote
- Strong focus on craftsmanship, prioritizing quality over quantity of ideas
- Detail-oriented approach, producing top-tier visual work under tight deadlines
- Thoughtful and resilient mindset, understanding iterative design and operating flexibly
- Ability to work independently, managing timelines and briefs from multiple projects and partners
- Native proficiency in speaking and writing Japanese
