Responsibilities
- Create engaging paid and organic social media assets that showcase the brand and attract target merchants.
- Work on the evolution of the GoCardless brand.
- Develop acquisition campaigns across the entire addressable market, including digital ads, landing pages, events, and targeted, bespoke direct mail.
- Design lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Support product launch campaigns.
- Participate in events.
- Improve design operations by optimizing how the team works.
Requirements
- Must be native in Figma, with excitement for building systems that optimize for scale and automation, whether within Figma or not.
- Comfortable using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and preparing assets for production.
- Familiar with and enthusiastic about the role AI plays in design, whether generating assets, expediting processes, or building tools.
- Possess discerning visual taste and be comfortable applying that judgment across a spectrum of disciplines and channels such as email nurture campaigns, global marketing campaigns, product launches, and headline events.
- Have 2+ years of experience either within an in-house team (preferably from a VC backed technology company) or a respected branding agency.
- Portfolio includes relevant case studies showcasing ability to design at a consistently high level across a variety of channels and media types.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with motion design tools such as After Effects, Jitter, Cavalry, Rive or equivalent.
- Experience in creating micro animations and interactive elements.
- Curiosity about emerging design tools and a willingness to continuously evolve skillset and explore novel ways of working.
