Responsibilities
- Interact directly with customers to inform and guide them during product experiences, purchases, and consumption moments
- Build consumer trust by presenting brand values in a relatable, personable way through educational engagement
- Guide customers through product sampling experiences in compliance with local laws and company guidelines
- Complete assigned digital training modules on brand knowledge and program requirements on a recurring basis
- Utilize technology platforms to receive assignments and submit required field data for brand representation
- Arrive punctually at events dressed according to specified guidelines and prepared to carry out promotional activities as directed
- Distribute branded merchandise to consumers during promotional events
- Adhere to responsible service protocols and report any breaches of those standards
- Prepare retail locations with brand-specific point-of-sale materials prior to events
- Cover event-related expenses using a company-provided payment method
- Collect or receive promotional supplies from the event logistics team
- Maintain and return all company-issued equipment, including uniforms and event assets
- Submit post-event summaries through the designated marketing reporting system
- Capture digital photos during events and support local social media content sharing
- Identify key differentiators between the represented brand and competing products, and report competitive market activity
- Present a professional and engaging appearance suitable for direct consumer interaction
- Follow all organizational policies and operational procedures
Work Arrangement
Remote (City/Region) — Memphis, Chattanooga, Nashville, Knoxville

- Events are primarily held on Friday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as on Saturdays
- This is an occasional employment role; appointment does not ensure a set number of assignments
- Employees must approve and sign all mandatory documentation and comply with all marketing policies and the North America Diageo Marketing Code
- Regular completion of online training related to brand offerings is required
- Passing assessments on product category, distillation methods, and brand knowledge is mandatory
- Deliver a final two to three-minute presentation to effectively represent brand offerings at events
- Ability to stand or walk for long durations is necessary
- Capable of lifting and transporting heavy trays, boxes, and materials
- Maintain a positive and composed attitude in high-pressure environments
- Meet standards for consumer appeal and marketing objectives
- Be approachable and skilled in initiating and sustaining consumer conversations
