Responsibilities
- Communicate the company's value proposition to both potential and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to provide equipment quotes based on customer needs.
- Follow up on quotes via phone calls, meetings, and on-site visits.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with key customer contacts in purchasing, operations, and executive leadership.
- Increase revenue and expand market presence within the designated territory.
- Manage all branch functions and oversee day-to-day activities.
- Take full responsibility for branch performance and profitability.
- Allocate branch resources effectively to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Request and coordinate additional support as needed to meet branch commitments.
- Train, coach, and mentor branch employees to enhance performance and career development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
- Support employee growth while fostering an engaging and productive workplace.
- Assume direct accountability for branch profit and loss results.
- Oversee and support collection activities to maintain healthy financial outcomes.
- Monitor business performance and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in sales, trucking, truck/trailer rental, leasing, or customer service
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to exceptional service
- Experience leading sales teams and managing business development
- Proven success in sales management or a branch leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM systems to manage sales opportunities and customer relationships
- Ability to use business reports and operational dashboards to monitor branch performance, utilization, revenue, and profitability

- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit a vehicle throughout the workday.
- Ability to physically inspect trailers both inside and outside.
- Ability to access areas underneath trailers when necessary.
- Ability to walk trailer yards and climb stairs as required.
- Ability to drive or fly more than three days per week.
