About the Role
The Bookkeeping Specialist will oversee daily financial operations, maintain precise records, and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the organization’s accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
- Track accounts payable and receivable activity
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Monitor and categorize business transactions
- Identify discrepancies and resolve account issues
- Generate recurring financial reports
- Collaborate with auditors during review periods
- Update accounting software with current data
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation
