Pearl Talent is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team. This role maintains accurate financial records and supports day-to-day accounting operations for growing businesses. You'll focus on full-cycle bookkeeping, including transaction recording, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
What You'll Do
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain documentation.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
- Process vendor bills and manage payment schedules.
- Issue customer invoices and track collections.
- Support month-end close activities.
- Prepare basic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Support payroll processing and recordkeeping (client-dependent).
- Organize documentation for tax preparation and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Full-cycle bookkeeping exposure (AP, AR, reconciliations, reporting).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience working with US-based businesses or financial standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Full-charge bookkeeping experience.
- Multi-entity or multi-currency exposure.
- Payroll or sales tax experience.
- Accounting or bookkeeping certifications.
- Experience supporting audits or tax filings.
Technical Stack
- QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Gmail/Outlook, Slack, Zoom.
- Online banking platforms.
