- Prepare and manage automated bindery systems with several functional stations, including powered paper cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and high-speed binders, often linked electromechanically to form a full production line for transforming printed sheets into finished products like books, catalogs, manuals, directories, or magazines
- Conduct safety inspections on machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Operate automated adhesive binding systems (perfect binders) that include multiple synchronized stations, processing collated sheets or signatures through steps such as vibration, milling, surface roughening, glue application, covering, and final stacking or delivery
- Perform precise adjustments to synchronize the various workstations within a single bindery machine for optimal performance
- Lead and supervise team members across all production phases to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Track and maintain standards for product quality, production volume, and operational efficiency
