Responsibilities
- Create, organize, and sustain the project's BIM content ecosystem, including Revit templates, shared parameters, system families, adaptive parametric components, attributes, catalogs, and part lists, while ensuring consistent application across teams.
- Establish and maintain documentation for the BIM content development strategy, covering workflows, issue resolution processes, and request fulfillment protocols.
- Deliver periodic progress reports and updates to leadership on the status and direction of BIM content initiatives.
- Supply technical guidance and instructional support to design and modeling staff on proper use of BIM content standards and recommended practices.
- Manage daily upkeep and improvement of the BIM content repository to stay aligned with project demands and software updates.
- Produce discipline-specific BIM components that comply with technical specifications, regulatory codes, industry standards, and vendor data needs.
- Enhance the BIM content library in accordance with project AIR, EIR, and BEP requirements to support design, construction, procurement, and operational phases.
- Refine all BIM content to improve model performance, coordination effectiveness, and compliance with industry and project-specific standards.
- Work with the Design and Engineering Program Lead to implement, track, and revise the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Perform quality checks on models and drawings to verify correct use of standardized content and compliance with project criteria.
