Responsibilities
- Examine case records and related documents for youth receiving residential care
- Hold consultations with care team staff to evaluate case progress
- Formulate independent recommendations for release and placement options
- Recognize children who require specialized medical, mental health, or developmental support
- Suggest suitable levels of care, transfer possibilities, and post-discharge services
- Focus on cases that extend beyond the typical duration of care
- Attend weekly case review meetings, conducted virtually or in person
- Record case decisions and recommendations in secure federal databases
- Monitor high-complexity cases and escalate issues as necessary
- Support the development of monthly reports and performance tracking metrics

- Strict adherence to confidentiality and child protection protocols is essential
