Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle development of software products, from analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Design and implement high-performance applications with attention to caching, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, environment setup, and testing.
- Conduct both unit testing and system-level validation to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Build modular, reusable, and loosely-coupled software components optimized for deployment on cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage ETL workflows using Pentaho for data integration and transformation.
- Create enterprise-grade business logic layers exposed as web services using Java, Spring Framework, and JPA.
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML following MVC design patterns.
- Integrate enterprise systems using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of front-end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design and implement automated business processes using Business Process Management (BPM) tools and methodologies.
- Work within Cloudera's ecosystem, including Hive, Pig, Impala, HBase, Mahout, and Spark, for big data processing and analytics.
