Sopra Steria is hiring a Big Data Engineer for a high-stakes, innovative client project. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
What You'll Do
- Translate business needs into data engineering or data analysis solutions.
- Implement data ingestion solutions (batch and/or streaming) in a Cloud context.
- Structure the DataLake and implement data governance and security processes.
- Process data up to its exposure to the business.
- Implement and supervise the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct technological watch with our partners and implement Prototype Designs, Proofs of Concept, or MVPs for client ideation.
What We're Looking For
- Mastery of a programming language applied to data analysis (mainly Python, SQL, Scala, R, Java).
- Mastery of distributed data processing (Spark, Pyspark, Hadoop).
- Mastery of a data streaming framework (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent training.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Prior participation in a Data or Big Data project.
- Good analytical mind, curiosity, passion, and sense of teamwork in an Agile organization (Scrum or SAFE).
- Desire to evolve towards a Cloud, DataOps oriented digital world.
