About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid response process and supporting pre-sales efforts by collaborating with technical, sales, and delivery teams to produce compelling proposals and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and submission of comprehensive bid responses within strict deadlines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and commercial content for proposals
- Ensure compliance with all client and regulatory requirements in bid documentation
- Develop and maintain standardized templates and processes for bid development
- Act as the central point of contact for all pre-sales documentation and client queries
- Translate client needs into structured responses using internal expertise and resources
- Manage the tracking and version control of all proposal documents
- Identify opportunities to improve win rates through content refinement and process optimization
- Support sales teams with solution design input during the pre-bid phase
- Maintain a central repository of reusable content, case studies, and success stories
- Conduct post-submission reviews to capture lessons learned and feedback
- Monitor upcoming tender opportunities and maintain a bid calendar
- Assess bid feasibility and resource requirements in collaboration with delivery teams
- Ensure branding and messaging consistency across all proposal materials
- Provide guidance on risk, pricing implications, and contractual terms in proposals
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliant submissions
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in bid writing and response strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity relevant to bidding
- Lead proposal design and formatting to ensure professional presentation
- Facilitate internal review cycles and approval workflows for bid documents
- Manage relationships with external partners or consultants involved in bid responses
- Ensure responses reflect organizational strengths and differentiators accurately
- Maintain quality assurance standards across all submitted proposals
- Use data to measure bid performance and identify improvement areas
- Support the development of strategic positioning for key accounts and sectors
