Bertoni Solutions is hiring a Data Engineer to design and build the data systems that turn raw information into actionable insights. You will join an international team that combines Latin American talent with Swiss organizational skills, all focused on solving business challenges through technology.
What You'll Do
- Transform raw data into useful data systems using various methods.
- Create algorithms and perform statistical analysis to drive efficiency.
- Align data systems with business objectives.
- Analyze and organize raw data.
- Build data systems and pipelines.
- Evaluate business needs and goals and perform complex data analysis.
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive models.
- Combine raw information from different sources.
- Explore ways to improve data quality and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- Experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Extensive hands-on experience with any ETL tool (Talend, Informatica, Datastage).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience developing data ingestion processes, data processing, and creating analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to analyze and organize raw data.
- Skill in building data systems and pipelines.
- Proven experience evaluating business needs and goals and performing complex data analysis.
- Experience preparing data for prescriptive and predictive models.
- Ability to combine raw information from different sources.
- A focus on exploring ways to improve data quality and reliability.
- Professional proficiency in the English language.
Nice to Have
- Specific experience with Talend ETL.
- Experience with Python.
